How often should I have my windows cleaned?

Do I really need the inside of my windows cleaned?
Typically yes. Dust builds up in a room and settles on the glass, much as it does on your furniture. We like to do the inside and the outside the first time we clean windows as the customer gets the full effect of professional window cleaning. An advantage of having both sides cleaned is that maintaining the windows between cleans is made easy by using a chamois or lint-free rag. We do not recommend the use of commercial spray products.

I see a lot of water runs off when the outside windows are cleaned, what happens when you clean the interior?
When cleaning the interior of a window our technicians are trained to "catch" their water on their applicators preventing almost all of the water from running onto furniture, carpets, and furnishings. Also, we use dropsheets to further ensure that nothing is damaged.

Is it possible to clean windows that appear foggy?
If the fog lies between two separate panes then we will not be able to clean it as this is an indicator that the seal may be broken. We suggest you contact your window manufacturer and check if your windows are still under warranty.

What is glass degradation?
Over time glass may become infused with contaminates such as oxidation and hard minerals. Since glass is porous, these pollutants settle into the surface and regular cleaning is necessary to prevent permanent damage. If your glass exhibits signs of degradation, cleaning is possible only with the use of hard chemicals.

What happens if it is raining the day we have our job scheduled?
We clean windows in inclement weather since it does not hamper the effectiveness of our work.
